Barbara Ann (Haygood) Justice, aged 83, passed away at her home in White Rock, NM, on July 2nd, 2017. She was with family at her passing. Barbara was born November 18th, 1933, in Rensselaer, Indiana to Oren and Louise Haygood. She was one of 8 children. She married Dorwin Justice May 21st, 1955 at Lafayette, Indiana. They had two children, Robin (son) and Pamela (daughter). In 1965 the family moved to Albuquerque, and in 1968 they moved to Los Alamos.
Barbara managed convenience stores for 7-11 Company, Brewer Oil, and the San Ildefonso Pueblo. She loved to fish and camp, and to watch baseball. She wanted to be remembered as a good wife to her husband and a good mother to her children. She loved them all dearly. She believed she had a great family and loved every one of her nieces and nephews.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Pamela Justice of Los Alamos, son Robin Justice (Cindy) of Jemez Springs, sisters in law Mabel, Elizabeth, and Martha Haygood of Indiana, and brother in law Frederick Justice (Jeanie) of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband Dorwin, parents Oren and Louise, brothers Oren Jr., Kenneth, James, Richard, Marvin, and Charles Robert, and sister Lois.
A memorial service will be held at the White Rock United Methodist Church on July 22nd, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 580 Meadow Lane, White Rock, NM.
