I was an administrative assistant for the Program Office and worked for David, we called him "Deludi" he was a great man. He helped me out a few times when I needed details regarding his "specfic area of expertise" for our Program Reviews. Always had a smile and it was a pleasure to work for and with. He is in my prayers and he is one that the old song of "Thanks for the Memories' applies. to.

Sorry I cannot make the memorial as I have another commitment that day. My thoughts will be with you all.

I worked at Textron for over 30 years but never had the opportunity to work directly with Dave.
However, what I can say is that Dave always had a great smile on his face and a wonderful laugh !
He was such an uplifting person. I don't recall a single time when I saw him down or sad. His spirit lives on in everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He truly loved life and people.

David was an awfully nice person and a real gentleman. I regret not getting to know him better before his tragic death. He will certainly be remembered by many of us.

My dearest Deludes-
David was an incredible father, husband, and man. He and Cathryn made me feel like a member of the family from the moment I met them. He had, hands down, one of the greatest smiles and laughs I’ve ever known.
I love you all so much, and am sending you every ounce of my love today and everyday.

Sending your family our sincerest wishes of peace and comfort.
We were lucky enough to spend a little time with him in Philadelphia and will never forget his big, warm smile.

Our hearts are aching for you and yours.

So sorry to hear this news but I'm happy Dave had time after to enjoy his interests after Textron. We worked together and he was my manager before he retired. He was so very smart and great fun to work with.

I worked with Dave on many projects when he was at Textron in Wilmington. It is easy to attest to his joyful character and love of life. He always wore a smile and was a great friend.

Cathryn, we are so sad for you and the children. David was so much fun and a real gentleman. We will miss him, but our memories of him will last forever. I love this picture of him.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons

Dear Cathryn, How fortunate we were to get to know David ever so briefly here in Santa Fe. The eulogy helps us to know him even more and to understand why we resonated with him. These next few months may present you with challenges, but we will be here again beginning in February. We hope until then you have family and friends who bring you comfort. I so look forward to our “desayunos juntos”, and perhaps for some hikes together in the local mountains. Hasta febrero! Cariñosamente, Diane & Warren

Feeling so helpless at this great distance to wrap my head around this loss, Cathryn, that David has passed on. This was a good and generous man who I just assumed would be with us so much longer. David was living right, active and fit, smart and genial, he had done, and was doing, his part of the bargain. But who ever knows? He departs as he lived among us, respected and loved. And our thoughts go out to you, Cathryn, and the family, and friends, and just know that we are here for you. Come for an extended stay. Lean on us, we are here. Sending love from New York City, David and Theresa
