Anna Carmen Romero

Anna Carmen Romero peacefully passed on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the age of 82.  Anne was born to Miguel and Patrocinia Nevares on September 16, 1939 in Santa Fe, NM where she was raised and Graduated from Santa Fe High School.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Churches.   As a longtime employee of the State of New Mexico serving as both a Secretary and a Clerk.  She later went on to be a caregiver for many individuals.  Most of all, Anna loved spending time with her family and always made them her priority.  She will be truly missed by many!

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Patrocinia Nevares; twin brother, Robert, and sons, Jeffrey James and Larry Mark.

She is survived by her children, Loretta Lindahl (Carl), Carla Romero, Daniel Romero, Jessica White (John), and Eryka Martinez; 16 grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by extended family and friends: Thomas Barela, Lynette Romero, Leticia Masse, and many others.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Michael, Bryon, Evan, Zen, Ethan (Godson), Demos, and Connor; Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters: Sasha, Joellyn, Brandy, Kayla, Hannah, Amanda, Remi, Camryn, and Mya.

A Rosary for Anna will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 9:30 am at Santa Maria De Le Paz Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.  Interment will take place at Rosario Cemetery on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00am.
