Edwin Catanach

Edwin A. Catanach died on December 29, 2018 in Santa Fe. He was oldest son of Eddie and Ymelda Catanach born on June 20, 1955. His father, Eddie, died in July 2018.  Edwin survived by his wife Lori Garcia, son Elliott Catanach, stepsons Adam Garcia and Anthony Dippolito; and grandchildren Deangelo Catanach and Aiden Garcia.  Edwin is also survived by his mother, Ymelda, and his brothers and sisters: Yvonne (Ubaldo) Garcia, Yvette (Gene) Varela, Yolette (Albert Olivas), Edmund (Melissa Salazar Catanach), Edward, Yolanda (Tom Sanchez), Ymelda (Ed) Jardine, Edgar (Kari Rost Catanach), Eduardo (Kathy Griego), Edloy, Yodel (David Gonzales), Ynez (David Werth) and Edrick. Edwin will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 Edwin was a 1974 graduate of St. Michael’s High School. 

 Services will be celebrated on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe, starting with a rosary at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery, 499 N Guadalupe St in Santa Fe.
