Floyd R. Valdez

Floyd R. Valdez, 72, lifetime resident of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on January 4, 2019.  He was born on November 16, 1946 to parents, Angelica Bustos Valdez and Amado Valdez.  Floyd is preceded in death by his loving parents and brothers, Robert “Bobby” and Lawrence Valdez.

He is survived by son, Mark Valdez; grandchildren, Dominic and Shay Valdez; sisters, Isabel Martinez, Amy Roberts, Beatrice Montoya and Karen Valdez.

Floyd worked for NMDOT District 5 as an Equipment Manager, where he put his skills of Master Mechanic and Fabricator to use.  He was a member of the American Legion Riders and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 6pm at Berardinelli Funeral Home followed by reciting of the rosary at 7pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Johns Catholic Church at 11am.  Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dominic Valdez, Carlos Abeyta, Benny Villapando, Larry Valdez and Jerome Chavez Jr., Nathan Coriz
