Gene A. Romero

Gene A. Romero, 26, from Pecos, NM, was called home to his resting place on May 6th, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1997. Gene was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Gene enjoyed spending time with his kids, riding horses, hunting, camping, and visiting with family. Gene will be greatly missed by many and forever loved. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Louciano and Alice Romero, maternal grandfather George Quintana, Uncle Dean Romero, Aunt Elaine Romero, cousin Orlando Romero, and Cousin Ernestine Romero. He is survived by his father Gene Romero, mother Yvonne Muniz (Joe), daughter Sophia Rose, son Santiago, brothers, Dominick, Timothy (Elizabeth), Dean (Elizabeth), maternal grandmother Grace Quintana, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Pecos, NM, Friday May 19th, 2023.

Rosary 10am, Mass 11am, and burial to follow.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Derrick Romero, Chord Bowles, Justin Quintana, Diego Rubio, Carlos Rubio, and Mat Guhl.
