Grace D. Casaus

Gracela Dora Maestas, age 83 of Mora, NM, born July 9, 1936 in Cleveland, NM passed away on August 2nd, 2019 with her family by her side.  She was born to the parents of the late, Jose M. & Romanita Maestas.  She was married to the late Louie O. Casaus. She is survived by her Grandchildren; Alvin Valdez, wife Melissa, & Vanessa Valdez, husband Christopher Acuna. Great-Grandchildren Christian, Samantha(Gilbert), Marcos, Valencya, Cherie, Xanti & Teyo. Great-Great Grandchildren Buddha Ray & Mauricio. Stepdaughter Michelle(Carlos) Casaus. Brothers & Sisters: Lala(Eddie) Trujillo, David(Christina) Maestas, Paul(Annabelle) Maestas, Irene(Mark) Lionhardt & Gina(Norman) Mondragon. As well as many nieces, nephews & friends. Grace has gone to join her husband Louie, daughter Pearl Valdez, granddaughter Cherie Valdez, also many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews & friends in Heaven. Grace was a loving and nurturing person, who cared deeply for all those who were close to her.  She was a woman whom you could always depend on in a time of need.  Grace would always go out of her way to help those in need.  She was kind and caring, never judging and never turning a person in need away.  Grace loved to listen to music, dance and spend time with her loved ones.  She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her

Burial to follow mass at San Antonio Cemetery located at San Antonio Rd. (off HWY 518), Cleveland, NM 87715

Celebration of her life and food to follow burial at Helping Hands located at 508 State HWY 518 Mora, NM 87732(across from Family Dollar)
