Joseph E. Martinez - 55 years old - born on July 6, 1963, in Santa Fe. He entered eternal life on January 26, 2019, with his beloved family by his side. He is preceded in death by his brother: Anthony Martinez, paternal grandparents: Edward Martinez and Carmelita Gonzales, maternal grandparents: Macario Larranaga and Anita Tapia Larranaga, uncles/aunts: Gabby Martinez, Leo Martinez, Louie Martinez, Mary Ann Valdez, Delfinio and Lucy Tapia, Maclovio and Juanita Montoya, Ramon and Loyola Tapia, Mary, Esther and Gilbert Larranaga, Louis Sandoval, and Duane Holtzclaw; as well as numerous great uncles, aunts and cousins from the Martinez, Tapia and Larranaga family. He is survived by his daughter whom he loved very much, Angelique Martinez and her mother Kristy Padilla of Albuquerque. Parents: Tony and Libby Martinez of Santa Fe. Siblings: Georgia Porter (Harold) of Nambe Pueblo, Donna Vallejos (Stephen) of Virginia, Teresa Cortez (Edward) of Santa Fe. Nephews/Nieces: Cami Porter, Nathaniel Porter (Melonie) and Estevan Porter (Clarabelle) of Nambe Pueblo; Jacob Martinez (Laura) of Nambe; Joelle Altamirano (Michael) of Albuquerque; Joshua Vallejos (Sabrina) of Dallas; Jared Vallejos of Virginia; Esperanza and Antonio Cortez of Santa Fe. Great Nephews/Nieces: Marcos, Aleena, Kassius and Devon Porter of Nambe Pueblo; Azariah, Jonah, Nevaeh, and Cyrus Martinez of Nambe; Emma, Liam and Dean Altamirano of Albuquerque. Uncles/Aunts: Carolina Martinez, Consey Martinez, Joe and Mary Larranaga, Tommy Larranaga, Tony Larranaga (Judy), Mary Lou Sandoval, Elosia and Fred Couty all of Santa Fe, Charlotte Holtzclaw of Washington. Godparents: Benny Martinez and Izela Martinez. He is also survived by numerous beloved cousins and friends. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend will be dearly missed by all. He is now in peace with his brother and extended family. He was a hard worker and had a heart of gold. His love and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew him. All services will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019. A time for condolences to the family will take place at 9:30 am, a rosary at 10:00 am and the mass of Christian burial at 11 am all at St. Anne Parish. The burial will take place immediately following the mass at Rosario Cemetery. In lieu of monetary donations, flowers or food, we ask that a donation be made to a charity of your choice in Joseph E. Martinez' name. The family will not have a feeding, please use this time to spend with your family, loved ones or a person in need.
