Kathryn Louise Filemyr (Kate), born October 14, 1959 in Davenport, Iowa passed on May 23, 2023 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is remembered and will be missed. We recall with fondness her great love of nature, including her beloved pets, her sense of adventure, her laughter, and her exceptional bookkeeping and organizational skill. She is survived by her two sons and their father, Frederic Kenyon Rowland I (Fred) of Morganton, NC; Frederic Kenyon Rowland II (Fritz) of Morganton, NC; Dexter Rowland of Denver, CO; also four siblings and their spouses: Janet Filemyr of Brooklyn; Ed Filemyr and Laura Ostrowsky of Pelham, NY; Richard and Bernie Filemyr of La Mesilla, New Mexico; and Ann Filemyr & Ondé Chymes of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
